I work with adults and teens navigating a wide range of concerns, including relationship dynamics, self-esteem, stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, life transitions, neurodivergence, and 2SLGBTQ+ experiences. I bring curiosity, compassion, and a deep respect for your unique story and strengths, and I believe it’s never too late to make meaningful change.
My goal is to offer a grounded, calm space where you can feel seen, heard, and understood. Sessions with me are collaborative and client-led—you get to be in the driver’s seat—while having the support to explore your experiences, emotions, and goals at your own pace, without judgment.
I draw from approaches like ACT, IFS, CBT, narrative therapy, and mindfulness, and tailor our work to what feels most helpful for you. With flexibility, insight, and gentle humour, I’ll support you in making sense of what you’re going through while building self-awareness and creating space for healing.
My hope is that through our work together, you feel more connected to your authentic self and more supported in moving forward in a way that feels right for you.
I draw from approaches such as ACT, IFS, CBT, narrative therapy, and mindfulness-based practices, tailoring our work to fit your unique needs. I have a particular interest in identity exploration, life transitions, burnout, and relationship dynamics (including non-monogamy).
I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating to be effective. With warmth and a bit of gentle humour, I aim to make the process feel approachable and supportive.
From a young age, I have been drawn to people and their life stories. I wanted to know more about them to learn how their past and present experiences have shaped their lives so far. This passion for psychology, alongside my desire to learn and understand more about my own journey, has led me to this career which I am so grateful for.
With over 10 years’ experience working in the human services field supporting people of all ages and abilities, my professional experience includes working in child development, disability services, vocational rehabilitation and employment services, mental health and substance use, as well as community outreach programs. My education and experience provide me with a unique understanding of the relationship between individuals and their environment, and how stress can impact one’s physical and mental well-being.
My clinical specialties include anxiety, depression, relationships and trauma as well as boundaries and communication and personal growth. I work from a client-centered, strengths-based approach utilizing various counselling frameworks, including Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy and motivational interviewing. My goal is to help people recognize the patterns that have kept them stuck, while creating stronger boundaries and healthier relationships with themselves and others.
